The right for this half term

Article 2: All children have rights, no matter who they are, where they live, what their parents do, what language they speak, what their religion is, whether they are a boy or a girl, what their culture is, whether they have a disability, whether they are rich or poor. No child should be treated unfairly.

Each class has been working hard to produce a charter for their classroom and will be doing work around article 2 and the other rights of a child.

Welcome back!

Welcome back to the new school term. I look forward to meeting with the RRSA steering group and continuing the hard work! Our playground charter is now finished and we are just waiting for it to be made. Look out for it in our playgrounds over the next few weeks.

We have got lots of exciting things planned for this year. The steering group will be doing an assembly this half term, which will give everyone lots more information about what we are doing. Look out in your new classrooms for lots of things about the rights of a child and I look forward to hearing all about the work you will do in your new class about children’s rights.
